As Vice-Captain of the SAE BAJA team at NIT Durgapur (2019-2021), I led the design and fabrication of an off-road vehicle, prioritizing driver ergonomics and safety. Using CATIA for vehicle design and RULA/REBA for ergonomic assessments, I optimized suspension systems and roll cage structures for driver comfort and crash protection. I later used ANSYS to perform strength analysis for thr roll cage, along with fluid dynamics analysis for thermal assessment of the brake discs. This project honed my skills in engineering design and human factors, delivering a vehicle that balanced performance and safety.
